Manager Finance (Sales Accounting)

Location Chennai

CA - 1ST / 2ND ATTEMPT - ONLY PREFERRED

EXPERIENCE - 3 YRS TO 5 YRS

Responsibilities

- Responsible for monitoring Accounting / Finance operations of the South Branch.

- Controlling and monitoring of Accounts Receivables and Payables

- Handling of warehouse billing & receivables

- Controlling trade discounts / schemes passed on to customers and claims processing and monitoring

- Responsible for customer claims and full and final settlement and negotiations with stockists and legal cases

- Responsible for control & review of trade promotional spends

- Review and control of branch NVOs and expense account settlement

- Compilation of documents relating to SOX compliance

- Review of customer creation and master data update

- MIS preparation related to South Branch

- Review and controlling imprest and travel advances to field personnel

- Warehouse, stockist and market visit in frequent intervals

- Responsible for analysis of the actual spends vs budget on a monthly basis, compilation of monthly MIS for variance reporting

Requirements

- Candidate must possess at least a Chartered Accountancy in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.

- At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

- Preferably Managers specializing in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent. Job role in Management/Cost Accounting/Business Analyst or Financial Accounting & Reporting.
