Our client is a high-profile worldwide leading financial institution with significant presence in Asia. Due to constant expansion and to bring their business to even greater heights in India, an outstanding opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Finance/CFO candidate to take on a pioneer leadership role. The role is based in the world’s fastest growing FS hub – India (located in Pune).
Job Description
The CFO Change works across the CFO division to ensure execution of strategic design and implementation of any major changes to processes and systems by partnering with key stakeholders to create cutting-edge business solutions. The CFO Change aims to deliver these strategic initiatives using leading project management and business analysis.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Implementing the appropriate team structure, communication channels with Global functional leads.
- Setting up of the “change the bank teams” along functional lines, whilst ensuring that there is no degradation in output from the teams that have been deployed.
- Building the Pune CFOC engagement through effective staff management and engagement
- Managing demand and priorities across the Pune teams to ensure that staff development objectives are facilitated within Pune and the Global CFOC team Collaborating with Finance IT teams to ensure delivery confidence
- Working with a Deployment Project manager to define which roles lend themselves to deployment .
- Ensuring that the Initiatives / projects are being delivered in accordance with criteria set by the Global functional leads
The Successful Applicant
- With excellent written and verbal English skills you will have a Degree in Finance and/or Business Administration or Chartered Accountancy with 12+ years of relevant work experience in managing and delivering Finance change ideally focused on Product Control and Financial Control with a strong finance architecture component.
- You have shown a proven ability to own and develop successful relationships with large teams as well as senior stakeholders.
- A self starter, your ambition, integrity,adaptability, and credibility will be required to engage, motivate and influence direct reports, teams and peers and help create a culture of meritocracy and transparency.
- Candidates working in similar capacity within the banking space or with a consultant background need only apply.
