Role: Finance Manager
Location: Delhi
Reporting to- Finance Director
Years of experience – 6-8 yrs. post qualification experience across Finance and Accounts.
Experience in Accounting and SAP implementation will be preferred
Education- CA 1st attempt
Roles and responsibilities:
- Responsible for the management of the finance and accounting functions for the South Asia region
- As a Business Partner to the Business Director, South Asia and key stakeholders, you will focus on providing the support necessary to develop and implement strategies, meet or exceed financial performance objectives and increase organizational efficiencies and overall effectiveness.
- Ensure the timely preparation of all monthly, quarterly and year-end financial activities, statutory accounting, taxation statements and reports and their compliance with appropriate legislation and standards in India (South Asia).
- Ensure the proper management and control of accounting activities and provide mentoring and development for the team.
- Cashflow management (oversees banking and treasury requirement, manage cash position including utilization and cashflow forecasting).
- Work closely with the APAC finance teams and get involved in the ongoing projects which will include the continued development and implementation of financial processes and procedures.
Must haves for this role:
Education Requirements:
- A Bachelors degree in Accounting, ACCA or equivalent
- Preferably a member of ICPAS (or other CPA membership)
- Technically strong in accounting and with good business acumen
- Experience in public accounting will be an advantage
Experience Requirements:
- 5 + years of related working experience with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role
- Experience in managing finance functions and multiple P&Ls
- Demonstrated ability working as a Business Partner to key stakeholders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- SAP experience is preferable
