Corporate Finance Senior Research Analyst (CPC)
DEPARTMENT: Corporate Finance Practice
REPORTS TO: Research Manager
LOCATION: Gurgaon, India
The Corporate Performance Center (CPC) of Organisation brings together leading finance experts and leading strategists to help our clients map corporate strategy to financial market performance. Based in New York, Amsterdam, Gurgaon and Costa Rica, the CPC is part of Organization’s worldwide Corporate Finance practice. With shareholder value creation as corporate goal, our competence in financial analysis is a critical part of Organization’s discussions with CEOs and CFOs of major corporations about strategy and M&A. The analyses conducted by the CPC have also been used in numerous publications.
Role of CPC Analyst -
CPC analysts work with CPC specialists, Experts and Senior leaders of the practice to help Organization teams identify and evaluate critical financial and strategic issues for discussions with senior client executives, and also spend some time working directly on client engagements. Their primary responsibilities are to conduct financial analyses and valuations of companies aimed at developing insights into the capital markets’ perspectives on an industry or company.
Career Path
As CPC analysts, he/she will develop a solid grounding in core principles of corporate finance and its application in different industries. As career evolves, he/she may become a CPC specialist focusing on one or two industry sectors and will develop deep insights into corporate finance issues in that industry or industries, working closely with organization colleagues with extensive expertise in those sectors. Over time, he/she may grow into a CPC expert, with broader responsibilities for leading sector efforts, managing individual projects, and participating in the overall leadership of the CPC. While CPC analysts will work mostly from our office in Gurgaon, they will be assigned to Organization’s teams and work at the client site from time to time. With the broad mix of work, structured training programs, mobility to other locations of CPC, we aspire to grow CPC analysts into a rounded corporate finance professional and thought partner for senior executives.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate for this role will be an entrepreneurial self-starter who enjoys the challenges and rewards of research work in a dynamic and changing environment. Strong interest in Corporate Finance and demonstrated finance or accounting experience in an academic or business setting are preferred. Moreover, the candidate should possess a postgraduate degree (business, economics or finance - preferred) from a highly respected institution with an outstanding academic record or demonstration of expertise in finance/accounting.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
- Between 2-5 years of professional work experience, preferably in the corporate finance research or advisory space
