AM - Payroll Accounting (3-6 yrs)

Job Background/Context:

- To Provide HR shared services including International Payroll, Benefits, Retiral Management and related Accounting & Reporting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform the day-to-day operations in the areas of Payroll and Benefits Administration.

- Ensuring timely and error free payroll processing

- Handling the entire accounting process.

- Reviewing all accounts/ GL Monitoring and ensuring no unreconciled/ open items.

- Ensuring timelines for the various reporting/ reconciliation/ proofing activities.

- Maintenance of loan ledger and preparing sub ledger recons.

- Ensuring posting of Monthly payroll/ Accrual entries within timelines and accuracy.

- Ensuring Payroll & accounting reports required to be submitted to the region are completed accurately within timelines.

- Ensure that daily operations are meeting customer expectations and are delivered in accordance to the Service Level Memorandum (SLM) and in compliance to set regulatory, compliance, audit, risk and control and quality standards.

- Build strong working relationships and hold quarterly dialogue with the HR community to communicate and update activities and process changes.

- Demonstrate exemplary commitment to customer service, consistently meeting agreed timeframes and adjusting to changing priorities by displaying willingness, cooperation, and concern for business issues.

- Maintain accurate and updates operations manuals or procedure guides.

- Ensure that Audit Deliverables are prepared accurately and submitted in time

- Ensure timely payment of all statutory dues and reconciliation of the statutory account.

- Ensuring minimal escalation as far as employee queries are concerned

- Vendor Management

Knowledge/Experience

- Payroll knowledge highly desirable

- Strong Accounting background

- 3-6 years accounting / payroll experience

- Bcom( H), Preferably CA( Inter)

- Excellent knowledge of Excel and MS office.

- Good English both written and verbal

- Ability to handle pressure.

- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Self motivated demonstrating good analytical skills

- Able to handle high volume of work & adapt to change

- Able to plan and manage own time

- Able to manage teams

- Ability to work independently with remote reporting lines

- Understanding of Operational Risk, Risk and Control Self Assessment, Information Security, Continuity of Business and Records Management processes
