Position: Team Member- KYC Historic Re-mediation (Global Markets)
Location: Bangalore

Role Description:
The candidate would be part of a team that is into:
- Data quality management: Performing Quality checks on complete records
- Inbox management: Reviewing critical clients that have to be re-opened and liaising with the sales team for documents
- Re-mediation: Reviewing existing clients from Global Markets to ensure adherence and Compliance to Regulatory requirements. The key static data of the clients and the documentation is validated for correctness with the help of external & internal sources approved by the bank.
Job Description:
- Re-reviewing of the High, Medium & Low risk entity categories for active clients held in db-Client for London region
- Source Documents through Internal repositories and External websites
- Documentary proofs to be stored in the specified repository
- Identifying duplicates and closure of the clients
- Accuracy of Data entry on systems/applications is critical
- Perform quality checks, perform error analysis and give feedback to team members to improve process quality
- Conduct due diligence and enhanced due-diligence on critical entities like Banks and Financial Institutions, MiFID etc...
- Timely escalation of issues to Team Leaders & system related issues to client's technical support group
- Meet Service Level Agreements & Preparation of MIS as per process requirement
- Procuring Client contacts from Sales for obtaining the further information"s from client
- Ability to analyse data and business judgement to research results and draw relevant conclusions, summarize data, and review the case
- To verify and validate customer"s identity & profile, business and account activity; identify relevant adverse information and do risk assessment for potential money laundering and / or terrorist financing to support actionable decisions to mitigate against financial, regulatory and reputation risk and ensure regulatory compliance
- Identifying and reviewing suspicious activities by ensuring all Standards of conduct that should be followed, so as to protect and enhance the reputation of client with the regulators and avoid significant loss due to inability to meet compliance standards.
- Respond to queries, handle level 1 escalation and provide solution for closure of open points.
- Identify gaps in procedures, analyse adequacy of documentation and highlight circumstances that needs to be included.
- Undertaking responsibilities of removing unnecessary procedures in processes; ensuring uniformity in the process understanding at the client"s and the organization"s end.
Skills and Experience :
- Minimum 1-4 years with relevant experience
- Understanding and Knowledge of KYC & Anti Money Laundering/Risk & Control.
- Familiarity with Banking environment preferably Document research
- Relevant experience in performing quality checks, error analysis & providing relevant feedback
- Good communications & interpersonal skills
- Good comprehension & analytical skills
- Knowledge of Research Techniques like Company websites, Stock Exchange, Regulatory bodies etc....
- Proficient in keyboard skills & good working knowledge in excel is a must
- Ability to work in Shifts as per project requirements
- Ability & willingness to work to achieve Service levels, productivity & quality targets
- Adaptability to learn new processes, concepts and skills.
- Eye for detail and willingness to question process status quo

- Communicating with Onshore, Off-shore & Sales team
- Interaction with relevant support teams
- Co-team members
