About our Client: Established in 2003 our client is a new generation real estate development company focused on developing signature real estate properties across Mumbai. We are engaged in the development of residences, workspaces and weekend retreats.

Job Description:

- Monitor & approve all payment requests for non-petty cash payments and check the same

- Supervision of payment vouchers for all non-petty cash and non-employee related payments and approve them

- Monitor all advances given by the company and ensure proper and timely adjustments/ recovery of the same

- Managing the vendor accounts and sanctioning Cheques on demand

- Checking the Weekly reconciliation statement

- Handling correspondence on matters relating to VAT, Service tax, Income tax, corporate tax etc.

- Compile the various statements required as a part of payment of taxes and other statutory dues

- Liaise with the external Tax Consultant on all taxation related routine matters

- Supervising the statutory Audit

- Making policies & processes for the Accounts department on the framework of Standard Accounting Policies

- Prepare and monitor MIS as prepared by Executive-Accounts on a timely manner

- Perform other tasks related to accounts & taxation as required by the organization

- Responsible for building & managing the team; identifying their training requirements, mentoring and coaching them

- Holistic approach to the various issues in the department and promptly resolving them

- Effective upward & downward communication to foster team engagement, trust and knowledge sharing

- Effective Inter-departmental coordination for seamless communication & swift decision making
