JOB DESCRIPTION:-
The key responsibilities may be divided as follows:
Business and Financial Strategy, Planning and Forecasting
- Forecast development of Business Unit initiatives, business action plans and priorities
- Facilitate the development of an effective business strategy by Developing economics to understand core business performance (Brand/Package/Channel trends etc}
- Leading the financial and operational assessment of strategic options
- Review current progress toward achievement of Annual Operation Plan targets and support the development of contingency plans and corrective action
- Provide analytical support to the BU and Manufacturing Unit to help in the diagnosis and resolution of key issues
- Support BU and MU teams in the development of Strategic Plan, AOP and Capital Plan
- Coordinate development and timely submission of P&L and Balance Sheet targets, initiatives and action plans and priorities
- Develop trend analysis (volume, pricing, cost) and benchmarking to ensure accuracy and reliability of BU and MU targets and identify improvement opportunities
- Support quantification of BU and/or MU action plans
- Model alternative scenarios
- Provide ongoing planning and support to major business processes and BU/MU teams
- Facilitate the accurate evaluation and analysis of current business results, opportunities and risks
- Identify and understand trends
- Analyze causal factors
- Support development of contingency planning
- Identify opportunities to reduce complexity and drive down the cost of delivering financial services to the MU and BU
- Develop cost/benefit analysis
- Identify opportunities to reduce complexity and drive down the cost of delivering financial services to the MU and BU
- Develop cost/benefit analysis
Statutory Reporting
- Support reduction in the timing and complexity of the BU/MU financial closing process
CANDIDATE PROFILE:-
MBA from IIM/ISB/XLRI/SP Jain/FMS/Jamnalal Bajaj/XIM with atleast 5 yrs of experience in finance function preferably in a FMCG.
