Position Title : Relationship Manager

Grade - Assistant Manager / Manager

Business Group : Whole Sale Banking Group

About the Group : The commercial Banking group caters to various corporate at large and SME level, in terms of building relationship with them to build on current accounts and flow-based income from trade and cash management services. In addition this group also drives new transaction banking based corporate relationships for the bank.

This group also focusses on increasing transaction banking business i.e Fee, Float, Forex Turnover and Fixed Deposits from Corporate Banking Clients through Trade and CMS products.

Key Deliverables :

Core delivery of aforementioned parameters are judged both in absolute terms and in terms of penetration per client.

The prime responsibility is to maintain CEO/CFO relationships with SME’s to originate business.

- Relationship Management - effective client relationship management to originate business & service client needs on commercial banking, investment banking and international banking products. Specifically, you will determine clients' needs and devise financial solutions to meet their banking and financial advisory requirements.

- Target Orientation - Ensuring stability of income from existing set of clients and exploring avenues for new income generation from existing as well as new clients. Achieving individual targets and growing account profitability, while maintaining a high service standard and compliance will be your goal.

- Product structuring - Adding value to the client and staying ahead of the competition by structuring and implementing innovative deals

- Team Management- i.e. driving and directing the team of Associate relationship managers and product managers to drive business profitability and growth.

Location - Hyderabad and Bangalore

Qualifications - CA / MBA with 1-7 years of Post MBA/ CA (*) relevant experience. (*) Grade / role would depend on relevant experience.

Only Candidates having relevant experience in BFSI Sector w.r.t Credit Analysis, Client Handling, Corporate Relationship Management will be considered.

Skills & Abilities :

- Core Banking experience in Trade Finance, Documentary Credits, Foreign Exchange, Credit Appraisal and CMS business.

- Hands on experience of Trade Finance and Documentary Credits .

- Sound knowledge of RBI regulations on Imports, Exports, ECB, Overseas Direct investments, Foreign Direct Investments etc; DGFT rules; Exim Policy etc .

- Sound Knowledge of Bank Guarantees, LC, Trade Finance etc

- Sound knowledge of ICC rules on Documentary Credits

- Good credit knowledge for deal structuring and knowledge of various products including Trade Finance, Cash Management, Treasury and General Banking Product and Operations would be an added advantage

- Interpersonal skills and ability to influence - Using Data and Logic to convince others, articulation with conviction, Understanding the impact of one-s behavior on others.

- Negotiation skills with ability to interact with people at various levels of the organization and outside environment, strong sales and relationship management skills.

- Analytical thinking ,Team Effectiveness

- Process oriented – Ability to make changes in system/processes/work methods to improve performance
