Looking for a strong CFO for a client in Investment Management space at Gurgaon. JD as follows.
Position : CFO
Education : CA or MBA - Finance (CS desirable)
Experience : 10+ years of experience in finance, investment banking or trading firms
Location: Gurgaon
Compensation : Commensurate with candidate caliber and experience
Role Responsibilities & Desired Profile :
- Implement the right capital structure for the firm including raising equity and debt from various sources, Implement the right corporate structure including companies in US, Mauritius, India and potentially other domiciles, Manage the investor relations for investors in the fund, Oversee the accounting processes including budgeting, reporting, Oversee the risk metrics including setting the trading limits by accounts and markets, Oversee compliance to all regulatory/overseeing bodies (SEBI, RBI/FEMA, exchanges), Ensure proper audit, internal controls
- Excellent operational skills, Strong problem solving and business partner management skills, Understanding of global financial industry, especially investment management, Great written and oral communication skills, Strong experience working both independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment, Must be comfortable working in a global team environment and in dealing with national and international service providers in US, Experience in mentoring junior staff members, developing and presenting group training sessions, Entrepreneurial, self-motivated individual - high energy, high activity levels - passion for working with an innovative, small but rapidly growing company
- Experience in managing, trading, clearing and settlement, banking operations process, Knowledge of compliance requirements of SEBI (brokerage, PMS, mutual funds, FII), RBI (FEMA), Companies Act, Exposure to Mauritius, Europe or Singapore, Company Secretary skills (management of the board processes), Some experience in overseeing or interacting with technology teams, Experience in an early stage company or fund, Experience of working in India
