Job Description
- The role involves supporting the European Distressed Products Group Portfolios team which sits within the Credit Solutions Group.
- The team regularly analyses large amounts of historical data relating to pools of secured and unsecured consumer receivables in order to assess their future performance and value them accordingly.
- The role requires the efficient manipulation and analysis of the historical data utilising SQL and SAS, and less often Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access with the ultimate aim of calculating relevant measures of historical performance.
- Initially the candidate would focus on the data manipulation and analysis and then get more involved in the full deal process including deal modelling, asset analysis and due diligence.
Skill Set
- An ability to communicate effectively with the team and present results clearly.
- A high level of proficiency in SQL / SAS / Excel and Access with an ability to write high quality code that is efficient and fast.
- Work closely with the team in London to understand and resolve data requirements.
- Close attention to detail and an enthusiasm to grasp new concepts and skill (eg. Deal modeling, due diligence).
Looking for candidates with 3 – 6 yrs of relevant work experience in any of the investment banks.
