Sr Manager - Transition Management & Service Delivery

Athena Financial Advisory & Processing Services (FAPS)

CA / MBA (specialization in Finance & Strategy) with atleast 4 to 6 years of experience

Skills & Experience:

- Proven capabilities in Project Management, Transition Management, Process Reengineering and establishing financial processing operations from scratch.

- Must have front-ended transition of finance processes like P2P, O2C, R2R / FP & A using knowledge of Six Sigma & Lean methodologies.

- Working knowledge of SAP, Oracle or any other ERP.

- Exposure to various functions within Finance (Operations; Controllership; Accounting; Budgeting & Forecasting; awareness of SOX Compliance requirements) is preferable.

- Exposure to both ends of the BPO Industry as a Service Provider and as a Client would be an added advantage but not a pre-requisite.

Responsibilities & Skills:

- Transition & Service Delivery Management:

- Create initial requirements and planning documents which are used to communicate and assess client needs

- Estimate transition work effort in coordination with the operational leads

- Effectively execute, control and support service delivery, ensuring industry benchmark systems, methodologies and procedures are followed.

- Work with KT team to ensure knowledge management process and training requirements are identified, scheduled and planned into the overall transition plan.

- Build and maintain client relationships (both with external & internal stakeholders):

- Ensure the overall program adheres to the development processes agreed with the client.

- Attend client service review meetings covering performance, service improvements, quality and processes.

- Work with the client project manager to define and document any metrics and SLAs required.

- Produce management and account performance reports to an agreed schedule or upon request

- Identify and document any changes to delivery methodology required to satisfy client requirements.

- Work with the quality and methodology team to determine if the client methodology changes and enhancements are project specific or can be incorporated into the overall methodology.

- Track key metrics during the transition pertaining to delivery risk and mitigate risk as it arises

- Demonstrate strong leadership and judgment

- Ability to comprehend, clarify and balance enterprise and business segment objectives

- Good at analytical and problem solving skills – should be focused on the task and explore innovative ways to get things done in time

- Capable of getting people with divergent views and skills to gel together and perform as a single cohesive unit of performers

- Effective communication with Management on strategic issues

- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills.
