About Our Client
A leading bank having a wide-spread global footprint, considered to be One of the 10 largest banks in the world. Our client is set to expand their Corporate Banking business and are looking for a Senior Credit Risk Admin (Analyst) for managing their portfolio of Commercial and Corporate Banking customers in India. This job sits out of their office in Mumbai.
Job Description
You would be responsible for Credit Risk Management/ Credit Monitoring/ Credit execution/ MIS. Along with mentoring and handling a team you would be required to analyze the credit proposals and financial statements sourced and submitted by the RM’s. You would assess and evaluate the proposals based on bank rating model, industry comparison, facilities form and other risk parameters and made recommendations for approval.
You would also be responsible for maintaining the quality of the portfolio and detect early warning signals for deterioration of risk in corporate exposure.
The Successful Applicant
You should be a BCom / MCom / MBA from Tier-1 Institute with at least 8 years of relevant experience in Credit Risk with a MNC Bank in Mid market or Large Corporate team. You should have knowledge of External Commercial Borrowings- Trade Credits- Syndication (off shore loans) - Export Finance, etc along with other normal credit related products like Overdraft/ Loans/ Bank Guarantee’s /Letter of Credit / Market Risk facilities.
The ideal candidate should be conversant with post- sanction activities like –
* Issuance of sanction letters
* Preparation/ vetting of legal documentation
* Compliance with covenants, terms, conditions, RBI regulations
* Collateral management
* Credit limits/ collateral registration in system, monitoring thereof.
* Audit responses
* MIS
* Regulatory compliance reporting
* Provisioning
