Retail E Commerce – Consulting:
Level: Senior Manager / Associate Director
The Multichannel Business Consulting practice is a fast growing organization. As part of this growth we are recruiting for several Sr./Manager level positions with depth in Multi Channel Commerce and Strategy experience ideally with a background in management consulting and experience serving Retail, Travel and Hospitality, and/or CPG clients. We are looking for consultants with a proven track record of leading engagements at the C/M level who will leverage their industry, strategy, process, and technology depth and bring significant ROI to clients.
Responsibilities:
- Lead multiple engagements delivering billable client work with retail, travel and hospitality and consumer goods clients.
- Develop reusable multichannel consulting methodologies and tools.
- Provide thought leadership, white papers, and industry expertise while contributing to strengthening the Retail Consulting Practice.
- Help build onshore/offshore team of experienced multichannel consultants.
- Help mentor and develop junior level consultants to improve quality of engagements and strengthen the overall practice.
- Navigate Cognizant’s organization to build a network and form virtual teams with expertise in the various multichannel capabilities (e.g. social, mobile, etc.)
- Build account-specific consulting plans for accounts which show a bent toward multichannel opportunities.
- Identify and drive business development activities for multichannel consulting engagements.
- Support pre-sales activities such as proposal/SOW writing, client presentations.
- Identify up-selling opportunities within current clients and continue to build relationships and drive value within exisiting accounts.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 8 - 12 years experience in management consulting with direct experience supporting and leading engagements in Retail/Travel & Hospitality/CPG industries. In Industry experience at a Retail/Travel & Hospitality/CPG company is a strong plus.
- Experience in Multi-Channel Commerce and Strategy including Web, Mobile, and Social.
- Strong written communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in business development, client relationship management and pre-sales support.
- Ability to analyze and share recommendations to improve/modify existing processes/ systems for clients.
- Experience with client interaction by identifying client's priority needs for service and support.
- The ability to manage teams of consultants and work with cross functional and client facing teams.
- Knowledge of process flows, systems and procedures which aids analysis and recommendations for solution offerings to exploit new business opportunities.
- Advanced practical knowledge of business processes.
- Ability to travel 60%+ of the time.
- Master's Degree in Business/Management highly preferred
- Bachelors Degree required.
